Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account data from Google Sign-In: name, email, avatar.
• Your chat messages with SCOUT (to provide history and answers).
• Subscription status via Stripe (we never see or store card numbers).
• Basic usage analytics (pages viewed, features used).

2. What we do with it

We use your data to operate the Service: deliver picks, answer your questions, manage your subscription, and improve the product. Chat questions may be processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate answers; they are not used to train third-party models per our API agreement.

3. What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with bookmakers. We do not send marketing on behalf of third parties.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored on managed infrastructure (Vercel/Neon Postgres, AWS) inside access-controlled environments. Payment data lives entirely at Stripe.

5. Your rights

You can export or delete your account at any time from Account settings — deletion removes your personal data and chat history permanently. EU/UK users have GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability); contact us to exercise any of them.

6. Retention and processors

We keep account and chat data while your account exists, and delete it when you delete the account. Billing records are retained as long as tax and accounting laws require. Our processors are: Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI answers), Vercel and Amazon Web Services (hosting, EU region for our own infrastructure). Some processors operate globally; where data leaves your region, it is protected by the processors' standard contractual safeguards.

7. Cookies

We use only functional cookies (session, sign-in). No third-party advertising cookies.
